A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Really have been impressed with the cafe's new manager Lucy and her friendly team who have always shown lovely professional approach in service. As a local, I have enjoyed comng for coffee and breakfast take away as well at times dining indoors. Highly recommend coming here with family for an overall lovely experience!"
"The avocado on toast was simply superb. Right portion and great taste. The Bacon Benny was very good according to my uncle. Lovely neighbourhood cafe, with great service and greeted with smiles and enthusiasm."
"Lovely and new cafe in Vermont. It’s inside some local streets, I wouldn’t have known about it if I hadn’t searched for local cafes, so I imagine that most of the customers are locals. Quite the hidden gem. I’ve been to heaps of cafe near this area and this place has such a lovely atmosphere and vibe. The staff are really nice and friendly and the wait time for our food was very reasonable. We got the salmon Benny and the thai chicken salad, both which were well presented and very tasty. The flavours in the Thai chicken salad were unreal, would highly recommend. There’s lots of seating in the back of the cafe and outdoors, it’s a lot bigger and more spacious than it seems. Definitely coming back here and would highly recommend!"
"I love this café and still pop in from time to time. When my pup was younger, I brought her here for exposure training and it was the perfect spot — the courtyard out the back is great and lots of people bring their dogs. They’ve always treated her so well and even let us sit inside with her when it was pouring rain, which I really appreciated. The food is always delicious and the vibe is lovely. Such a great little spot."
"Leeroy is such a lovely cafe! Food is always great and the coffee is just amazing! Staff are always smiling and attentive. Lucy, the owner is wonderful too. Highly recommend if you are in the area."
"If you want the sunniest smile in Vermont, go and see Lucy. She will brighten the hardest of days with her warm loving nature, and send you on your way with the best Energy loaf and an awesome coffee to tackle your to-do list! Visiting Leeroy's and seeing Lucy was the highlight of my time in Vermont. The cafe seating outside is so nice on a sunny day, so treat yourself and bring your family for brekkie! Doggo's welcome, amazing treats in the cabinet, and the best people behind the counter...what more could you ask for from this little corner cafe?"
"It’s a nice corner neighborhood cafe recommended by a friend. The new owner “Lucy” took over the business from August 2025. She was formerly the owner of MyCoffeeLab in Forest Hill Chase (in front of Woolies and Priceline) years ago before FHC renovations. Residential customers came rolling in after 9am after their morning walk/exercise around the neighborhood. I will be returning with friends from nearby suburbs - good quiet place away from busy traffic, for a quiet chat among friends…"
"Leeroy is a high quality cafe, hidden in a quiet, suburban residential street in Vermont. The venue is bright, light and modern, but still feels cosy. It boasts a variety of seating options, inside and outside. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, with a variety of foods on the menu for dining-in, and a selection of pre-made rolls/ sandwiches and muffins/ cakes available for takeaway. Service was prompt and friendly. I think this is definitely a hidden gem and I know we'll be back to sample more of the menu."
